Now’s your chance to shine a spotlight on those making an extraordinary impact in the Salesforce ecosystem. The 2025 multi-phase nomination process kicks off on January 14 and runs through February 7, 2025. The next class of Salesforce MVPs will be revealed in June 2025. Let’s celebrate the voices driving innovation and community spirit –  nominate your MVP today!

What Is a Salesforce MVP?

The term MVP comes from the sporting term “Most Valuable Player”. In the Salesforce ecosystem, MVP stands for “Most Valuable Professional”.

The Salesforce MVP program began in 2010 to annually showcase and celebrate individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities. To become a Salesforce MVP, they must embody three characteristics, which we will explore in more detail in the next section.

Each year, Salesforce invites the entire community to submit nominations. If awarded MVP status, you begin a one-year term as an MVP. MVP status is evaluated every year, and not all MVPs get renewed. Being an MVP takes continuous dedication and effort to retain the title.

Anyone can be nominated, but to be considered, you must meet three characteristics: expertise, leadership, and generosity.

  1. Expertise: Salesforce MVPs are expected to be product experts and evangelists – we never gatekeep information. Our job is to share our expertise via blogs, podcasts, vlogs, the answers community, speaking at events, and more.
  2. Leadership: Salesforce MVPs consistently give back to the community. This can be as a community group leader, a community conference organizer, or participating in programs such as MVP Office Hours. MVPs are expected to follow a code of conduct and represent Salesforce and the community in all their endeavors. This means showing up professionally and enabling those around them to skill up and feel supported.
  3. Generosity: Salesforce MVPs donate an extraordinary amount of their personal time, giving back via mentoring, organizing community groups and events, speaking at conferences, and so much more. They do this not for recognition but because they have an innate desire to help others, especially those more disadvantaged than themselves. We strive to lift others up.

Hi Christine, Can you do multiple nominations for an organisation or will only one person be awarded per company?
