Now that the main Dreamforce news has been released and we’ve all had a chance to catch our breath, it’s time to introduce this year’s top Campground booths!
As Salesforce’s premier annual gathering, Dreamforce attracts Trailblazers and Salesforce users from across the globe to come together for three days in San Francisco, where they attend learning sessions, networking events, and maybe even a party or two! The event is divided into different zones, and among them is the Campground – a 4,000-square-foot space for ISVs to set up their booths, showcase their products, and engage with the community.
This list is neither graded nor official! But as we all know, a big part of bringing your company to the Campground is to stand out, increase brand awareness, and find those all-important leads.
We sent Aoife Spooner (Associate Account Manager) and Ariella Imhoff (Influencer Talent Manager) to scout out our top five booths based on team spirit, creativity, and overall effort.
Why Invest in a Booth?
A quick recap: Dreamforce is the largest official Salesforce conference worldwide. For three days, Trailblazers flock to San Francisco to catch up on Salesforce’s latest news, network with fellow trailblazers, and attend keynote speeches led by industry leaders. For this very reason, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) plan their presence there months in advance, and spend a good amount of money on this too!
Why pay, you ask? For visibility and promotion, of course! The ISVs with booths at Dreamforce create a tough competition and while the Campground as a whole was bustling with creativity, we think the following ISVs brought their A-game to Dreamforce this year.
1. Own
Unless you were living under a rock, you would have heard the news about Salesforce’s acquisition of Salesforce Backup provider, Own. The excitement of this deal continued into Dreamforce, where the Own logo was pretty much everywhere – including on trucks outside of Moscone.
Own took the slogan “Historical data fuels your future” and ran with it – there were giant fuel pumps and a huge branded canopy. Plus, they even offered a way for attendees to “refuel” with massage chairs.
Own is a data backup and recovery software that provides solutions to ensure a company’s essential information is kept safe and confidential, even in the case of a cyberattack.
“This year was incredibly exciting for Own, following the recent announcement that Salesforce has agreed to acquire the company, making it the clear choice for Salesforce data protection.
“We had some really exciting product developments to share, the main one being the GA of Discover, which allows customers to activate their historic backup data as a time series data set, and the launch of Continuous Data Protection for Salesforce.”
AJ Foster, Senior Marketing Events Manager, Own
2. Validity
If you thought Dreamforce in itself was a “world of pure imagination”, then Validity took it to the next level with their CRM Chocolate Factory!
Providing all the sweet treats you need to keep you going, they also shared even sweeter insights into how you can keep your Salesforce data clean. Let’s just hope no one overindulged and got stuck in a chocolate-induced Salesforce mess – but if you did, we bet the Validity team could help you out of it.
Validity is the ISV behind DemandTools, the service used by so many Salesforce clients to ensure their org keeps data clean and manageable.
“Every year we try to make it fun and we love to draw people in with our creativity. The last three years we’ve delivered on that and had a blast speaking with our thousands of booth visitors.”
Olivia Hinkle, Director of Product Marketing, Validity
3. Provar
Are you tired of bugs ruining your Salesforce fun? Provar is too, so they took this energy and channeled it into their retro arcade game theme. They’re always winners, because “bugs don’t stand a chance”.
Alongside all the swag they gave away, all those who visited their booth (and entered from home) could play their very own retro video game, Provar Invaders, for a shot at winning a Nintendo Switch.
Provar provides integrated quality management, maintainable test automation, and release governance to teams using Salesforce.
“The booth theme was meant to capture our promise to “level up” our customers with improved test automation strategies, customer support, and products. We blast those bugs, just like those that entered our giveaway did! ”
Samantha Spector, VP Global Marketing, Provar
4. Spekit
With a powerful pink presence, Spekit was one booth you couldn’t miss. And if the promise of a cute, plushy octopy didn’t draw your attention, the inspired ensemble of the team and the plethora of enablement insights will have.
Be a rebel and join the pink side – you’ll find us there.
Spekit’s AI-powered enablement platform equips sales and support teams with the answers, content, and knowledge they need to maximize Salesforce ROI.
“At Spekit, we don’t look like everyone else. From our female-founders to our disruptive approach to enablement, we’re always seeking new ways to rebel against convention. Our Dreamforce booth was a reflection of this, leaning into the bold colors, high-energy, and iconic Octopus mascot (Speki) that embody the Spekit brand and spirit.”
Elle Morgan, Director of Content and Communications, Spekit
5. Valorx
Though Dreamforce may feel more like a bustling city trip than a relaxing beach break, with Valorx you could enjoy the peaceful breaking of a wave – but not in the way you might expect. By taking the name of one of their products, Wave, they created a tranquil scene that also reflects the experience of their customers.
Did you manage to catch a wave with Valorx at Dreamforce? Cowabunga!
Valorx provides an enhanced (and familiar) UI for Salesforce users, helping to solve complex data challenges.
“We started Valorx with Fusion but this year at Dreamforce it was time to let Wave shine with our beach theme.”
Chris Liko, Product Marketing Manager, Valorx
Summary
All in all, every company mentioned here deserves a round of applause. Dreamforce is the place to invest when it comes to brand visibility, and they certainly brought their A-game. Considering how quickly the competition is growing, many must feel the price tag is worth the investment.
Once again, our list is not set in any particular order, and our judgments are based on the level of creativity, appeal, and overall team spirit on display. Do you agree with our selection? Let us know in the comments…
