Breaking News: Elton John Pulls Out of Dreamfest

By Zayna Dar

With Dreamforce – Salesforce’s flagship conference – just around the corner, attention has turned to the heavily anticipated headliner for Dreamfest. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Elton John is no longer able to perform at the event. However, Salesforce has announced an exciting replacement that promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees: none other than music icons P!NK and Imagine Dragons – a dream collaboration!

Previous star-studded lineups include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Alicia Keys, and The Killers, among dozens of other legendary artists. As P!NK and Imagine Dragons take the stage this year, we can expect another sellout performance to electrify the crowd and make it a night to remember. Here’s everything you need to know about Dreamfest and what to expect from this year’s show…

What Is Dreamfest?

Dreamfest is an annual live concert that takes place during Dreamforce, which Salesforce describes as the largest AI event in the world – a conference where thought leaders, industry disruptors, and innovators join forces to network and share knowledge.

Dreamfest is the biggest and most eagerly awaited Dreamforce party where the global Salesforce community can come together to enjoy free food and drink while vibing to chart-topping performances from a world-class lineup.

In addition to bringing entertainment, Dreamfest is also a fundraising event. Each year at Dreamforce, Salesforce partners with nonprofits that make an impact in the community. In previous years, organizations that Trailblazers have supported include Girl Scouts, Children of Shelters, and Larkin Street Youth Services. This year, all proceeds will go towards the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, providing acute pediatric care to children in San Francisco and Oakland.

Nominated for over a dozen Grammy Awards, P!NK has sold more than 135 million records worldwide throughout her career, making her one of the world’s best-selling musicians of all time. Meanwhile, Imagine Dragons need no introduction. As one of the biggest pop-rock bands on the planet, earning a whopping 160 billion streams across music platforms, Imagine Dragons are guaranteed to bring the house down.

When and Where Is Dreamfest?

Dreamfest will be held on the evening of Wednesday, September 18 (the second day of Dreamforce).

Last year, Dreamfest took place in the Chase Center in the Mission Bay neighborhood of downtown San Francisco, home of the Golden State Warriors. This year, the event will come back to Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. If this will be your first Dreamfest, you can expect a packed stadium, drinks flowing, live music playing, and the best part is everything is included in the price of your Dreamforce ticket!

How Do You Get Tickets?

While Dreamfest general admission is included in the price of a standard Dreamforce ticket, VIP experiences are also available at an additional charge. Benefit sponsors will have exclusive access to a range of perks, including valet parking, a pre-show reception, an elevated concert experience, and an after-party, not to mention a premium menu and an open bar! Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to support the incredible work being done at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.

Summary

Dreamfest is back this year and from the all-star line-up in store for us this year, we can expect the event to be bigger and better than ever. With P!NK and Imagine Dragons headlining this year’s Dreamfest, it means double the magic and double the fun!

And don’t forget, Dreamfest is not only an opportunity for you to let your hair down and blow off some steam but also a chance to help raise money for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Let’s get this party started, Trailblazers!
