Position overview:
As our Salesforce QA Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end quality assurance process for multiple client engagements. You’ll lead a small team of test analysts, define QA strategy, and work closely with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the overall QA roadmap, strategy, and test plans for Salesforce implementations
- Lead, mentor, and allocate tasks to a team of 3–5 QA engineers and analysts
- Establish metrics and KPIs (e.g., defect escape rate, test coverage) and report on QA health to stakeholders
- Oversee integration and end-to-end testing—covering custom Apex, Lightning components, and external APIs
- Collaborate with release managers to gate production deployments
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new tools (e.g., Provar, Copado) and refining processes
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in QA, with at least 2 years managing QA teams on Salesforce projects
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and deployment pipelines
- Hands-on with both manual and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Apex tests)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to influence across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience defining QA metrics and improving team performance through process enhancements
