Salesforce Accredited Professionals Credentials Move to WebAssessor Platform

By Thomas Morgan

Salesforce has just announced that the Accredited Professional (AP) credentials program will be moving to the Salesforce Certification Program from the Partner Learning Camp (PLC) and will be readily available on Webassesor from October 16.

This decision hopes to streamline the user learning experience by centralizing all learning opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem. You can now access both Accredited Professional and Salesforce credentials in one unified platform, making it easier to grow your Salesforce skills.

Key Details

With the transition taking place today, here are six key details that you need to know about the move:

1. There’s No New Retake Policy

If you completed your exams with the Partner Learning Camp, there’s no need to worry – it won’t apply to the Salesforce retake policy and your credentials will still be valid.

For details on Salesforce’s retake policy, visit this help page.

2. Existing PLC Credentials Will Transition Over to Salesforce

Any AP exam certification completed on PLC is still valid and can be moved over to your Salesforce Trailblazer profile.

If you already have a Salesforce Certification Webassessor account, you’re all set. Your credentials will automatically appear on your Trailblazer profile’s Accredited Professional section once the migration is complete.

If you don’t have an account yet, don’t worry – Salesforce will send you an email with steps to set one up using your PLC profile’s email address. Your credentials will then transfer over to your Trailblazer profile.

3. AP Credentials Will Be Maintained the Same as Salesforce Credentials

Maintaining your credentials will follow the same process as Salesforce certifications. If your credential is active as of October 16, then it’ll remain active through to October 31, 2025.

4. Unused In-Date Vouchers Will Still Be Valid

Fortunately, as long as it’s in date, all voucher codes can be redeemed on WebAssessor.

If your voucher code expired between October 7 and October 16 (when it became unavailable to use), just open a Trailhead help case and include your voucher code – Salesforce will then sort it out for you. All voucher codes that expired before October 7 will unfortunately not be replaced, exchanged, or refunded.

Your AP voucher code’s expiration date will stay the same when transitioned over to Salesforce. For more information on Certification voucher policies, check out this help page.

5. AP Vouchers Will Only Be Valid for AP Exams

Your AP voucher code can only be used for AP exams and can’t be applied to any non-related Salesforce exams.

6. The Partner Learning Camp Will Still Be Available

Partner Learning Camp isn’t going anywhere, so you can continue expanding your skills with over 1,500 on-demand courses tailored to all Trailblazers!
